The belief is that the Virgin Mary had spent her last days in the vicinity of Ephesus and that she had died there. There was focused attention on a nun named Anna Katherina Emmerich who had livid in the late 18th century (1774-1820). The efforts to find the house were greatly influenced by her detailed description of the Virgin Mary's coming to Ephesus, her life and her last home there and the characteristics of the city although she had never been to Ephesus. 

Kusadasi Ladies Beach The most popular beach in Kusadasi. No motor vehicles are allowed to get in to the Ladies beach area. Changing rooms, umbrellas, sun beds, toilets and cafes are available in the beach .There are also restaurants and cafes in the Ladies beach area for the ones who prefer to watch the sun set when having a delicious meal.

Ladies beach is 5 km from town center and takes about 20-25 min on foot. Also buses are available from the town center to ladies beach for those who prefer not to walk. It?s also one of the cleanest beaches in Kusadasi. A highly recommended beach!
